Small Cedar Basket

Description: This cedar basket will be taught from start to finish. The price includes all materials needed. The teacher will provide form, already cut red cedar, raffia, sinew and sample of the project. Students will leave with a completed basket.

Cedar Headband

Description: Students will learn how to weave cedar and raffia around a headband form. Price includes all materials. The teacher will provide form, already cut red cedar, raffia, sinew, spray bottle and sample of the project. Students will leave with a completed headband.

Cedar Barrette
Design: Diagonal
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $50 per person
Description: Taking a store-bought barrette and weaving around it. All supplies will be provided. Students will get to make their item unique based on the color weaver they decide to use.

Cedar Jagged Edge Earrings
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $50 per person
Description: Students will choose how thick or thin they would like their earrings to be, once chosen, students will be taught the design, and will learn how to put hooks on to complete the earring set. Students will take home their finished project.

Jagged Edge Hoop Earrings
Design: Jagged Edge
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $50 per person
Description: Step by step instructions will be provided to create the jagged edge design. Once the design is complete, the top and bottom ends will be brought together to make the hoop. All materials will be provided: cedar, earring pieces and instructions.

Cedar Hoop Earrings
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $50 per person
Description: This is very small weaving, if you have issues with fine, intricate projects or have issues with arthritis, this project might not be for you. Very thin pieces of cedar will be woven around a metal hoop. All materials will be provided. Students will get to decide between two hoop sizes and also decide if they want to add color using sinew.

Preparing Cedar
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $90 per person
Description: Students will get a pre-soaked bundle of cedar and learn how to split by hand and with a jerry stripper. Once split they’ll learn how to make a cedar rose. Price includes all materials. The teacher will provide a bundle of cedar, jerry stripper, and a water bottle. Students will leave with a completed cedar rose and the remaining bundle of cedar.

Cedar Prep Add-On
Skill Level: Moderate
Price: $15 per person
Description: Add additional learning to any project (as long as the age matches). Prior to starting any project, the students will pick some pre-soaked cedar, they’ll learn how to split the cedar and cut it to the desired size. The students will not be able to take leftover cedar home. This add-on is just to learn the project from start to finish.
