Cedar weaving is a tradition that was passed down from generation to generation with the Suquamish Tribe and other Native American tribes. This barrette is utilizing those techniques to create a modern barrette that is fashionable for any occasion.

This barrette starts with cedar from the outer bark of a red cedar tree. It’s then woven together with black sinew in a zip-zap pattern. It’s a traditional diagonal design for a sleek and elegant look.

The barrette is half an inch thick. Item is made to order just in case there are some personal touches that can be added, please allow at least 2 weeks for the product to be made. Processing and shipping fees will apply.
