Lisa has been designing Native American art for over 12 years. Each piece had a purpose and became a piece of art that she wanted to share with her community.
This design is a representation of the Native American appreciation for life and nature. As Mother Nature is the care taker of all living things, the animal designs reside within her hair to represent all living things connected as a whole. Each animal has it’s own meaning, but still all connected and related to one another by Mother Nature. The design at the top of her head represents humans, reminding humans that everything works as one and we are connected to all living things.
