These earrings start with cedar from the outer bark of a red cedar tree. It’s woven into a round shape for texture. Dentalium shells dangle from the bottom. Dentalium shells are traditional shells our ancestors used for necklaces and other jewelry. The rarity of these shells is what makes these earrings and the cedar are what make these so special.
